Troubleshoot KCA and LCS:
This section helps you troubleshoot whether the KCA and LCS applications
are properly configured to administer the Kansas Computerized Assessments.
Check whether KCA is able to connect to LCS. Open
the KCA Preferences utility and run the troubleshoot. If KCA is
configured properly to use LCS, the results will show that KCA is able
to connect to LCS.
Check whether KCA is able to take a practice test
using LCS. Open the LCS monitoring tool to view the number of practice
tests taken per subject. Once you take a practice test the information
displayed will update. The LCS monitoring tool currently updates every
2 minutes, so wait for 2 minutes for the practice tests to be updated.
